The Electric Light & Power Company just completed a significant inventory restructure for 2009. New lights, new grip and rigging and a substantial new inventory of High Definition cameras and accessories. Sony F23: The F23 has added an unparalleled level of excitement not just inside our company, but also throughout the industry. The Electric Light & Power Company, through our subsidiary 4:4:4 Camera, increased stock of DigiPrime Lens, purchased a large variety of batteries for every shooting style, added handheld accessories and monitoring equipment. PhantomHD: Opening up a lot of new creative opportunities for our industry, the Vision Research PhantomHD High Speed Camera is rapidly becoming mainstream. The Electric Light & Power Company has an overwhelming lead in the operation and successful post production of this tool. We have not only developed the capture and operational on-set workflow, we have constructed a fantastic computer workstation that can uniquely exploit the range of this camera. The PhantomHD website has been created to correspond with the many requests for information I receive. With the success we have accomplished with the Phantom over the last two years, I enjoy a lot of interest in our camera operations. International 3-Ton Grip/Electric Truck: In 2008 we finished the construction of a new 3 Ton package. We added rigging equipment, quartz lamps and KinoFlo's to the base package. We worked hard to develop an inventory of equipment that offered significant options for the lighting crew at a very competitive rate. Peterbilt 4-Ton Grip/Electric Truck: Sometimes that 3-Ton is just to light weight to get all you want to set, and the big dual axle trucks are just to big for the neighborhood we are shooting in. Most 3-Ton packages are built around a small truck chassis that is perfect for a small lightweight package. However, there is a lot of demand for a vehicle that can handle a great deal of weight but has a small footprint. Electric Light & Power just finished construction of a Peterbilt 16 foot 28,500lbs GVW bobtail. This way we can be small when we have to be, yet deliver all the tools you need on set. |
